Within the framework of the project “Development of
foreign language competence of TSU students”, Master students Ali Yacoub, Rawan Samaan , Houssain Baalbaki (Syria) and PhD
student Rakhaf Dukhan (Palestine) together with the teachers Olga Kharapudchenko and Elena Krasilova organized a
presentation at the Faculty of Radiophysics.
The students have been living in Tomsk for more than one year. In perfect English, they talked about the differences in higher education systems in their countries and Russia. It was interesting to learn that in order to enter universities in Syria and Palestine, it is necessary to pass an exam in English. Ali, Rawan, Houssain and Rakhaf showed very colorful presentations about culture of their countries. The first-year students were interested in many aspects of their international colleagues.
The meeting was very fruitful!
