In the framework of the project «Foreign Language Competence Development of TSU Students», Higher School of Journalism held aweek workshop with a guest speaker Jay Carter from Liverpool, England, supervised by Senior Lecturer of foreign languages department Pianzina Olesya Valerievna.
The workshop included a question-answer-session covering general and broad ranging topics from life interests, family, work, local area and culture to political, economic and national issues.
The students were practicing their communication and interview skills in a press conference scenario and demonstrated good listening and discussion abilities.
Students of different levels took an active part in the workshop and introduced the speaker to local culture and cuisine.
