Within the project “Foreign Language Competence Development of TSU Students” on Friday, March, 30 2018 junior students of the Radiophysics Department attended a workshop at the Laboratory of Nanoelectronics and Nanophotonics. The host of the workshop, master student of the Radiophysics department, Sanzhi Zayakhanov talked about new optical materials and functional devices built on the basis of nanoscale structures. Thestudents were motivated and asked many questions about converting the light energy into other forms of energy, processing and storing it. Everyone was interested in how OLED works and what its commercial value is. The event was organized by the English language lecturers Olga Kharapudchenko and Maria Egorova.
