December 8, 2017 within the framework of the project
"Foreign language competence
development of TSU students"
the master class in English was held by the master students of the Faculty of
History of TSU Angelika Suvorova and Anastasia Padukova. The topic of Angelika’s
presentation was “Siberia in Russia and in the
world”. She briefly delivered information on the economic and academic
potential of Siberia, its relations with China and the importance of studying
Siberia and the regions of Russia. Anastasia’s speech was devoted to “Korean Scholarship
Programs”.
She put an emphasis on how to get a scholarship for studying in South Korea and
what kinds of scholarships are available. Anastasia also shared her experience in
studying in the Republic of Korea, gave some peculiar information about this
country and told the students her own curious stories of her staying in Korea. The
first-year students, attending the master class, were interested in relations
between Siberia and China and the opportunities of academic mobility. The Korean
everyday life also became a subject of many questions.
This master class brought the series of master classes of the fall semester of 2017 at the Faculty of History to a close. Many thanks to all participants and listeners! Stay in tune, meet you in 2018!
