On November 15, 2017 the workshop «Talking with Clients» within the framework of the project “Foreign Language Competence Development of TSU Students” was conducted for the first - year students of Software Engineering department at the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Computer Sciences. The PhD students Denis Zmeev and Danila Sokolov supervised the students work.
The students had the opportunity to act as website developers. The order to develop a website was received from TSU International Affairs Management. The management consultant Eva Burbo acted as a client. The students were divided into two teams. The fruitful collaboration between the developers and the client resulted in creating two rough sitemaps.
The process of creating the website was so exciting and interesting that the students expressed their willingness to continue initiations started by this project.
The senior teachers of the Department of the English Language for Natural Sciences, Physics and Mathematics Faculties Lidia V. Artamonova and Tatyana V. Shilova arranged the event.
