BSc “TOMSK INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE PROGRAM”
The program begins in September 2019. It is an interdisciplinary undergraduate program in natural sciences that is conducted entirely in English and based on active learning methods.
The program involves an individual approach to learning and the ability to choose courses depending on the interests of the student, and prepares students for successful employment and admission to master's programs in Russia and abroad.

Prof. Herman Kingma
| Professor Kingma, head of the new Tomsk International Science Program, will explain why this program is a revolution in education in Russia, based on the success of a similar program in the Netherlands that is currently considered the best bachelor program in natural sciences. He will explain how this innovative approach leads to much more effective and successful personal development and how transdisciplinary education and research enables addressing the real challenges in our world much better than traditional passive, monodisciplinary education and research. Professor Kingma, head of the Tomsk International Science Program, will talk about the program, which was based on the success of a similar program in the Netherlands. He will talk about the merits of interdisciplinary education and research and explain how this innovative approach contributes to more effective and successful personal growth. | 16:15 - 17:15 |
Presentation of student projects | Students of Tomsk International Science Honors Program will give short comprehensive presentations of the projects that they have developed in this program. Each presentation is followed by a question and answer session.
