TSU became the 5th among Russian universities in the QS ranking

Today, June 8, the British consulting company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) published the annual World University Rankings. TSU significantly improved its position and ranked 323th, rising immediately for 54 points.

This year, Quacquarelli Symonds published the ranking in June to give applicants the opportunity having an expert review while choosing a university.

- The main consideration in forming the OS ranking is the expert survey of employers and the academic community, citation and the ratio of "student-teacher", so the main goal of this year was to achieve the relevant indicators in these areas, - commented Eduard Galazhinsky, the Rector of TSU. - On the one hand, the University is increasing the research potential, and we see it by the growth of publications in the leading international journals, and on the other hand, it is building the university ecosystem, Based on our meaningful target model.

Among the Russian universities, TSU took the 5th place. According to QS, TSU significantly improved its position on such indicators as academic reputation (+55 points), reputation among employers (+93 points), and the number of international students (+53 points).
