On December 16, Ice Museum Park will be opened at the University Grove

Ice Museum Park consists of ice sculptures that depict the most valuable exhibits that are stored in the collections of TSU - a rare manuscript of the 16th century, a camera 30-ies of the 20th century, and artifacts kulayskoy culture and the early Middle Ages. Also, the Grove has a two-meter reconstruction of Siberian wooly mammoth and dinosaur. A total nine museum exhibits are in the Grove, next to each figure set lights.

- We never stay away from the city life and want to create a New Year mood not only for students but also to all Tomsk citizens, for which TSU is always open, - says Igor Muravyov, the organizer of the festival. - Already, many come with families, taking pictures and asking about the figures that mean that our plan is working.

The festive programme with Father Frost and Snow Maiden at the opening of the Ice Museum will begin at 11.00 in front of the main building. It will be accompanied by drawing Christmas gifts - bags, gloves, and blankets with the image of Santa Claus will be organized. From 14.00 to 14.45 excursions tour to the Ice Museum Park will be organized for all wishing. Guides will gather near the group of the first exhibit - the butterfly, which is located to the right of the entrance to the University Grove.
