TSU will collaborate with Nanyang Technological University

TSU signed a memorandum of understanding with the world's leading university, who took 13th place in the ranking of QS World University Rankings 2015/16 - Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). Within the collaboration already this winter the Russian Language School for 20 students from the partner university will take place in Tomsk.

- Our cooperation with Nanyang Technological University was started in March 2014 at a convention QS WorldClass, where we with the Rector and the industrial partner of TSU Alexander Avstrievskih (Artlife) were at the invitation of Kevin Downing. We got acquainted with the vice president of the university Professor Er Meng Hwa - says Artyom Rykun, Vice-Rector TSU for International Affairs. - This is a strong modern university, and I think that we will collaborate in many areas of science and education.

According to Vice-Rector, later it is planned to organize mutual training, academic exchanges, educational programmes, and collaboration in the areas of science, such as joint research projects.

In 2016 students from 37 countries have submitted documents to TSU. For the first time, entrants from Jordan, Ghana, Antigua and Barbuda enrolled at TSU. Applicants from Asia (China, Laos, Indonesia, Mongolia, India, Bangladesh, and others.) and Europe (Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and others) have traditionally high interest to our university. For the second year in a row graduates from Arab countries such as Iraq are choosing TSU. In addition, citizens of Nigeria, Pakistan, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, and Bulgaria decided to study at one of the prestigious universities in Russia.
