Research Performance Rankings published the results of a special study conducted by the data of Thomson Reuters Corporation. According to the rating results, evaluating the scientific activities of the leading universities in the world, TSU is recognized as one of the most effective Russian universities and entered the top 10.
- Rating Research Performance Rankings includes 5 indicators (4 scientometric and 1 reputation), - said Irina Zholobova, director of the TSU Information Analytical Centre. - According to the assessment of Thomson Reuters, the reputation of our university research is very high and among the 700 leading universities in the world we have the 344th position.
TSU shows good results in terms of publications of articles written in the international co-authorship. This indicator allows evaluating the scientific collaboration of the university.
The publication activity of Tomsk State University scientists has increased significantly over the past two years. In 2015, more than 2,000 articles were published in journals indexed by databases Web of Science and Scopus.
