Tomsk State University has signed a memorandum of understanding with Heilongjiang University (Harbin). Currently, it is one of the leading universities of China.
- Memorandum of Understanding signed by us, became the starting point for closer collaboration, - says Ivan Ivonin, Vice-Rector for Academic Research. - The parties have determined that the priority areas of cooperation will be the chemistry and chemical technology that at a very high level at Heilongjiang University. So the University is in the top-100 in this area in the the QS World University Rankings by Subject.
Scientists of Harbin and Tomsk will work together to create new material. On the part of TSU will participate The Centre for Research in Materials and Technologies and the Faculty of Chemistry, from Heilongjiang University will work the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology. In July, the partners will discuss the format of interaction and identify topics of joint scientific research.
