19 May 2016

A TSU delegation took part in a bilateral meeting with representatives of the most renowned French engineering university – the administration of Ecole Politechnique Paritech. The meeting took place on May 13 at Novosibirsk State University at the initiative of the French side and Campus France Centre, with the assistance of Michelle Debrenne, a member of the Board of Alliance Francais and head of the NSU French Centre.

The participants presented their universities and directions of scientific and educational work, and discussed potential joint research activities in cold plasma and bioinformatics, and also the possibility of joint schools. Particular attention was paid to organizing internship at TSU for students of Ecole Politechnique and using the programme Global Education for alumni of Ecole Politechnique to continue their education at TSU. The TSU delegation was headed by Artyom Rykun, Vice-Rector for International Affairs.

-France attaches great importance to developing its own original tradition of engineering education. The quality of the training and outstanding scientific achievements open all doors to graduates and employees of the Ecole. This is one of the few educational institutions whose diploma has an absolute value. Ecole Politechnique can be called not only the leading but ‘cult’ university, and we look forward to the presence of this new strong strategic partner - said Artyom Rykun.
