In the framework of the research activities carried out by the Bio-Clim-Land Centre and the Biological Institute of the Tomsk State University
We inform Master’s Degree and Ph.D. students that 3 FINAL THESIS opportunities are available at the Lab of Ecology and Biological Diversity on the following topics:
1. The ecological effects of beavers’ dams on Siberian rivers
2. The ecological succession of glaciers retreat in Altai Mountains
3. The effect of climate change detected from the anatomic-physiological characteristics of Siberian plant species
The three theses and the related research activities will be coordinated and supervised by Prof. Roberto Cazzolla Gatti, Ph.D., Associate Professor in Ecology and Biodiversity at Biological Institute, TSU
The 3 selected candidates will work together on the three projects in the joint research group and then will write a thesis on the preferred topic
The activities will start the second week of May 2016
