TSU participates in the Universities of Russia week, organized by the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC) in Vietnam. TSU delegation is working in Hanoi from April 4. It includes Artyom Rykun, Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Tatiana Demeshkina, dean of Faculty of Philology. Representatives of the university has managed to agree on the opening of the joint programmes of undergraduate and graduate studying with one of the largest universities in Vietnam - Hanoi University.
- The aim of the week is recruiting students from Vietnam, the organization of joint programmes and the conclusion of contracts with universities and other educational institutions of the country, - says Artyom Rykun. - We also strive to attract our colleagues from Vietnam to the other forms of scientific and educational partnership.
Within a of Universities of Russia week representatives of TSU met with Pham Chi Cuong and Nguyen Thi Thanh Minh - Deputies of General Director of Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Some new educational programmes of the university were represented at the meetings and it was discussed the opportunities for training students from Vietnam at TSU.
Then the university delegation discussed with Le Ki Nam, Vice President of the Military Technical Academy of Le Qui Don Technical University the possibility of organizing in TSU advanced training courses of Russian language for teachers of the Academy. In addition, there was a meeting with Nguyen Dinh Luan, the President of the Hanoi University.
- At the meeting with the leadership of the Hanoi University we have agreed to establish a joint educational undergraduate and graduate programmes, as well as the use of quotas of Rossotrudnichestvo and Vietnam Government scholarships for training students of the Hanoi University at TSU - said Artyom Rykun.
On April 7 TSU representatives plan to continue working in high schools of the province Hai Duong - Hai Duong and Tran Phu. It is planned to carry out preliminary testing of graduates of Tran Phu high school. It's the best school in North Vietnam, its alumni for 19 years, have won the pan-Asian and National competitions in natural science. Currently 5 graduates of Tran Phu School are studying at TSU.
