Christ's College, a constituent of the University of Cambridge, has included educational programs of the TSU Faculty of Philology in the list of 12 recommended foreign programs for students. British linguists are interested in the specialization Russian as a Foreign Language and in theoretical courses: phonetics, lexicology, and syntax.

Christ's College is one of the University of Cambridge’s 31 colleges. It was opened in 1437, but for the first few years it worked “illegally”: the king granted it a license for educational activity only in 1446. At different times, biologist and naturalist Charles Darwin, politician and writer John Milton, admiral of the British Navy and member the royal family Count Louis Mountbatten, comedian Sasha Baron Cohen, and other famous personages studied here.

Christ's College recommends its students study at a foreign university for one semester. In particular, the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics of the college advises students of the Slavic department about 12 programs at Russian and Ukrainian universities, including studying at TSU.

The list includes a program of training in philology. In particular, British linguists were interested in Russian as a Foreign Language and theoretical courses in the Russian language: phonetics, lexicology, and syntax.

- Inclusive education is one of the most popular forms of study abroad among international students. Prior to arrival, we will coordinate an individual plan (learning agreement) with students, in which they include disciplines relevant to their university. Then students come to us and study with Russian students, only aren’t assigned to a separate group, rather go to different courses in different groups with Russian and international students and pass tests and an exam with them, - explained Svetlana Fashchanova, assistant professor at the Department of the Russian Language, deputy dean of the Faculty of Philology for training foreign citizens.
