TSU invites international students to summer schools in the Russian language, intercultural communication and translation, and paleontology. The application deadline was extended until July 31.
All participants of summer schools are accommodated in the University residence hall (3 person per room), which is located in the center of Tomsk, 10 minutes’ walk from the university.
The cost of the summer school includes lectures and seminars, training materials, transfer from the airport and to the airport, cultural program, accommodation in the hostel of the university, and coffee breaks.
Summer School of Intensive Russian
Dates: August 20 — September 07, 2018
Target Group: Humanities and Natural Sciences students with all levels of proficiency in Russian.
The curriculum includes intensive oral and written speech, deepening knowledge of basic grammatical topics, improving pronunciation and listening skills, discussing current social and cultural topics, acquaintance with Russian media, and acquaintance with the culture and history of Siberia and Russia.
Cross-cultural Communication in Interpreting and Translation

The curriculum includes translation practice, meeting with the historical and cultural context.
Mesozoic and Cenozoic Paleobiogeocenoses of the Northern Hemisphere (application deadline is July 15)

The school will be held in he taiga and forest-steppe. The program includes expedition, security training, purchase of necessary things and equipment, excursions around Tomsk (three days before and two days after field work).
