TSU provides the Summer Schools on Higher Education and Youth Affairs

Jean Monnet Center of Excellence and International Organizations and Networks Research Center of Tomsk State University invite undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as the young researcher to participate in the International Summer School Higher Education and Academic Mobility of Youth in Modern Integration Processes. The programme of the Summer school will include the lectures of experts from the leading universities of Kazakhstan, Norway, and Russia as well as participants’ reports, seminars, and round tables. The events will take place in Tomsk on 2-5 July 2017. All the participants will enjoy the opportunity to publish their research results after the review provided by the Summer School experts.

Tomsk has become a usual meeting point for those interested in research on youth and higher education. Last year A. Yarlykapov, senior researcher of MGIMO University (Moscow), D. Omelchenko, an analyst at Higher School of Economics (Saint-Petersburg), E. Matveeva and S. Shmidt, associate professors of Irkutsk State University, and L. Deriglazova, Professor of Tomsk State University were the experts of Summer School.

The Summer School of previous year gathered students and graduate students of India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia (Barnaul, Kemerovo, Omsk, Saint-Petersburg, and Tomsk). Both experts and participants of that School rated the organization and the results of their activities very high.

To participate in Summer school 2017, the candidates should send an application form, research statement, and recommendation from the research advisor by 10 June to lisbonne2016@mail.ru. Please, find more details and the application form here. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to select participants. Participants might be provided with scholarships covering travel and accommodation costs during the Summer School. The number of scholarships is limited.
