Tomsk State University and Uppsala University (Sweden) signed an agreement on academic partnership. The parties intend to conduct joint research in social anthropology, to establish the exchange of students and teachers, and to create educational programmes.
Uppsala University is the oldest university in Sweden (established in 1477). It takes 98th place in the QS World University Rankings 2016/17
TSU and Uppsala University are collaborating since 2013 in the framework of the project Man in the Changing World, which is implemented with the support of the Russian Government’s megagrant.
