TSU and École Polytechnique will create joint programmes

TSU delegation composed of Victor Demin, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Artyom Rykun, Vice-Rector for International Affairs are working in the UK at the largest conference of the European Association for International Education. The aim of the conference is to form partnerships.

Negotiations of TSU representatives with the leadership of the University of Strathclyde (Glasgow), which were attended by the deans of business school and Faculty of Engineering of the Scottish university took place at the beginning of the week. As a result, an agreement on joint summer schools and organizing internships was reached.

Also TSU’s delegation held talks with the leadership of Ecole Politechnique Superior (Polytechnic School of Paris) - France's leading engineering university (53th in the QS ranking).

- We are planning to sign a contract with them to establish a double degree programme, - says Artyom Rykun. - Undergraduates of our University will be trained on joint programmes with the École Polytechnique and at the end of training will receive a Master’s diploma of TSU and engineer Ecole Politechnique Superior, and later full degree of the School as analogue of Master’s degree.

The first admission campaign of the programme is possible already in 2016. Education at Ecole Politechnique Superior will begin in 2018.
