The Grant Contest is regularly held in order to
identify, support, and spread the best initiatives improving education and
research practices. Such initiatives are to be implemented and used on a permanent
basis. The contest is organized and held within the programme for
improving TSU competitiveness.
Any university professor, member of the staff, post-graduate
or PhD student can come up with an idea of a project that will be presented in
a contest application.

Application
Period: November 5 – 15
Contest participants fill out the application form and
send it to the contest operator. The application is posted on TSU website on
the page Bank of Initiatives. If an application fits the contest concept, its
authors are invited to participate in the following contest stages.
Describing the initiative: November 16 – 20
The participants work out the detailed description of
the project (Appendix 2).
Presenting the initiative: November 21
The participants present the idea to the panel of
experts.
Grants awarded: November 21 - 25
The experts vote for the best projects, the contest
results are presented, and the conditions of project implementation are
discussed with the winners.
Implementation and results reported: November 26 –
December 20
After implementing the projects, the winners report on
the project results at the conference of grant recipients.
